Hi Folks- Just looking over some old notes on Jung’s work with archetype and shadow as motivation/ cause for both repetition and change… take a look.

in regards to the “shadow” I think it would be interesting to look into a bit of Rudolph Steiner’s work regarding cognitive development and pre-adolescence… Steiner’s theory is that the shadow emerges between 9-13 years old.
