last two meetings…
-third meeting:
1. watching a video of ” Sergei Parajanov ” -> because of the low quality of the video, we decided to watch it later with a better version
2. testing the time-space patch based on delay -> found interesting effects and ideas/ waiting for a updated version of the patch by JS and Morgan
- fourth meeting
1. Visiting the Dedale experiment in BB -> it is great the alive space with the interacting-responsive monsters./beautiful and inspiring visual and audial atmosphere/ I expected to be able to play with the Dedale monsters, yet the room itself was so impacted that I merely could have a chance to think about possibilities and inspiring aspects that I hope to play with later. However, when it’s possible, I’d like to make a short improvisation dance-video piece using the sound recorded during the presentation inspired by the each installation of the monsters; may not being as a part of the research, but another way to approach to mingle dance-Tech.
2. Rosas Dance: thanks to Kiani, we could see a beautiful work of dance-video of Rosas dance company. I realised it is important that we share the point of views and different perspectives watching dance works not only with movers but with the involved creators. We all learn from each other and can get close to understand each other more.

What’s new for the next meeting? (14th Nov.)
I’ll bring two dvds of Pholippe Decouflé,one of the most talented artistic director and choreographer in France. His dance-video works and use of technology to make the performances magical would be interesting and important for our research group. And I wish we could have a chance to see a video of Marine’s works this time.
I’m not sure when it will be done the “simplified/developed” time-space patch, but I and Rene already tried the old one and noted some ideas that we can share together.
I wish we could use the patch as soon as possible to accelerate the research.
